ACCOUNTS
The Canton Area School District has transitioned to a new Point Of Sale system which includes a new parent portal for accessing your student's accounts. This allows you to monitor your childs spending and see what they are purchasing, and make deposits into their accounts. The new system allows multiple adults to "claim" a student, making it convenient for multiple household families, as well as extended family who may want to contribute to the account also. Deposits can be made in increments between $1 - $100, and unfortunately, each deposit will have a convenience fee of $2.25. (This fee is charged by the vendor, not CASD, so it can not be waived.) Pictured below are the step by step instructions to create your parent account. (If you are a CASD employee and have current students, you will want to create a "parent" account rather than an "adult" account.) Set up your account HERE.
As a reminder - ALL CASD students qualify for FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH. The accounts referenced above are for the purpose of buying extra entrees, and snacks. The cafeteria also accepts cash and checks, with no fee charged. Money can be delivered to the cafeteria, homeroom teacher or office staff at any time.
If there are any questions regarding the online payment system please feel free to call Mark Jannone, Business Manager, at 570-673-3191 or email him at mjannone@canton.k12.pa.us .
